The entire venue stood around awkwardly, wondering what happened and if it meant that Bryce Avary would have to swear 342 times to fill ATL's curse-word quota.
As funny/inspiring as it would've been to hear Bryce say "turd," Alex and the boys meandered back onstage and reminded everyone what day it is. "April Fools, motherfuckers!," he exclaimed, and everyone began kicking themselves in the face with pure jubilation.
So we eventually made it to Boulder (with the notable exception of Forever The Sickest Kids), even though most of our buses had to take a massive detour to get around the infamous I-80 highway, which was closed due to a snowstorm. We were about four or five hours late and kids were already lined up around the block for yet another sold-out show.
The Boulder Theatre is a ridiculously beautiful joint and, thankfully, large enough to contain the monster that is the AP Tour. It was a little less rowdy than the past few shows--maybe that's because the Rocket Summer have had the headlining spot, ending the night on a far less anarchic note than ATL.
That's actually kinda nice, cause this tour has been raging at a preternatural pace. That's not to say Boulder wasn't awesome. It's just cool not to have to fist-fight my way through anything for once.

Everybody Poops was a book my parents bought me when I was like 5 and wouldn't poop when we went of vacation because I was afraid of pooping in hotels and public restroom.
